Teaching the Environmental Humanities: Panel and Fall Reception

An interdisciplinary panel on “Teaching the Environmental Humanities.” Professor James Scott (Political Science) will reflect on lessons learned from teaching the interdisciplinary course, “Agrarian Societies.” Professor Jennifer Raab (History of Art) will discuss teaching the environmental humanities from the Yale collections. Paul Sabin (History) will moderate.

The panel will be followed around 5:15pm by the Environmental Humanities Fall Reception. The reception is co-hosted by Yale Environmental Humanities, the Program in Agrarian Studies, the Literature, Arts, and Environment Colloquium, Yale Environmental History, the Forum on Religion and Ecology, and other groups.
